Januš Suša

Born in 1985, Januš Suša is a contemporary artist working primarily in painting, sculpture, and installation. His practice explores the relationship between space, form, and human perception through minimalist compositions that invite contemplation.

His work is characterized by a reduction to essential elements, using limited color palettes and geometric forms to create pieces that speak to universal human experiences. He believes that by stripping away the unnecessary, we can reveal profound truths about our existence and our relationship with the world around us.

Suša received his MFA from Yale School of Art in 2010 and has since exhibited internationally. His work is held in private collections across the United States and Europe, and he has been the recipient of several grants and residencies.

Currently based in New York, he continues to explore new mediums and concepts while maintaining his commitment to the power of simplicity and the beauty found in restraint.
